Exclusive Status For Your Books On BookLikes

Reblogged from BookLikes:

It's time for Thursday Release and it's a feature many of you requested :-) Now when a given book doesn't fit any default status on your Shelf (Read, Planning to read, Currently reading) you can create your own exclusive book status.

How? You can create and organize your books with new statuses in several ways.

Go to your Shelf Page and create your new status with your name, e.g. Not finished. New status will be added and visible at once on your Shelf.

Blade Song, my first UF book, is the Book of the Week on iBooks!

Some cool news…  Blade Song is the Book of the Week on iBooks this week! This means… it’s free! If you haven’t tried it, now is the time. For those used to my Shiloh stuff, be aware… this isn’t romance.  It’s got a romantic subplot, but it’s not romance.

Also... Kit has a dirty mouth.

Fall into reading....
Fall into reading....

My first Stephen King

It - Stephen King

The first SK I ever read.  And it was in the sixth grade.  If people ever wonder why I'm warped, this might be why.  (Also, I was tired of seeing a blank page on my blog.)

Thief of Shadows - Elizabeth Hoyt this was fun. I think it's the first Elizabeth Hoyt book I've read and I decided to try it after I met her at RT-she was absolutely wonderful, so I had to try the book. Now I must read more. :)
Black Hills - Nora Roberts I didn't like this one as much as I like her others... I'm not sure why. Might have been the bad guy. But I couldn't stop reading it, either.

So... where's my next Nora?
Tangle of Need - Nalini Singh I want the ghost's story now.

Like very much now.
Wild & Steamy - Meljean Brook, Jill Myles, Carolyn Crane Finished last night... loved it.
The Last Policeman - Ben H. Winters Victoria Dahl mentioned this yesterday on twitter, I checked out the sample on Nook, started reading and I basically couldn't stop.

it's a fascinating idea...very disturbing and the hero is just amazing. You root for him even as his world, literally, is ending around them.

I loved it. I wish I could learn more about what happens after the last page was turned.
The Bone Yard - Jefferson Bass Okay, so the narrative at times got kind of boring... I get the feeling the author is kind of teaching us as we read, and the way he does it gets kind of dry, but what he is teaching is so fascinating that I got wrapped up in it, despite the dryness of the 'tone', so to speak.

And the story was compelling...very much so.

I can't say I'll ever read this book again, but I'll definitely check out more by the author. So despite the fact that book got a little meh at times, I couldn't real stop reading it...I needed to know where it was going, and I wanted to see if the characters got closure, etc, etc.

All in all, a pretty compelling book.
Nightbred - Lynn Viehl Just finished...loved it. Worried me a bit at the end. All better. Need the next.
